I'm an American girl who traveled to Australia to find herself and found my "Happy Place" and "Happily Ever After!". I love Disney, sushi and the ocean.
In this day and age, information is seriously coming at you 100 miles a minute.
Between Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, online media, news reports and not to mention the ever-present email marketing campaigns, your ideal audience has a lot to choose from! Guess what?
Yes, THE quality content that you’ve spent agonizing efforts going over and proofing to ensure it is perfectly curated to grab the hearts and minds of your most treasured readers.
But it’s just not converting, and no one is engaging with your posts. Why?
Social media takes a lot of time. Am I right?
It seriously takes so much time and so much energy. If you don’t have a really concrete idea of what your business is and what you offer, your ideal audience can get lost in the mix.
Think about your goals.
What are your long-term goals within your business?
For me, one of my most important goals is to host a conference at Disney World. Being around the Disney culture during my experience in college left a huge imprint on my heart and when this happens it is going to be amazing!
My point is, we can’t focus on attracting the people who will buy what we have to offer without first thinking, “are these the same people who will want what we have to sell in five years?”
As a successful business owner, you want to always be thinking about what’s next.
You need to get really clear on what clients you want to work with. Focus on getting creative to market to those dream clients.
Why would your ideal clients buy from you versus someone else? Because you’re different. You’re the one that makes them feel like family. You’re the one going into the places they spend their time and getting in front of them.
Guys, when it comes to getting in front of your ideal audiences, you want to be thinking about what your ideal audiences are chatting about with their friends during happy hour.
What are those conversations being had? It’s us to you to start getting in on those conversations.
Once your customers understand that it’s not just an investment, it is the quality of work that diversifies you, they will start talking at those happy hours and telling their friends about your product or service.
Likely, those friends at happy hour are the same audience that has already bought your product, and that is how you will become known. If you can prove to them why they need you, they’ll tell their friends why they need you, and your customer base will grow.
I get it. You’re busy! How in the world can you even begin to focus on finding the right audience when you have a billion other things to do? Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan.
